Novena magazine was ‘a Redemptorist Publication… published with ecclesiastical approbation’ out of Alton, Hants in the UK.
This is the July/August 1967 issue and features a six page interview with Waterford born singer, Val Doonican.
Val had loads of hit albums in the 1960s and had his own regular primetime Saturday night TV show on BBC. (wikipedia link)
Val died on 1st July, 2015 aged 88.

    Actually, all the signs were there really. 75 though. And that’s only the good ones for TV. The entire collection probably ran into the thousands. How come they’re not on permanent display in his home town of Waterford?
