Nice to see the “old” old East Stand, had forgotten what it looked like. All history now. The contractors, PJ Hegarty, are still going. They also built Thomond Park. Sisks built the new stadium (Aviva my ass, will never call it that!). I was working in that area at the time and it was fascinating to see it going up. The view of it as you come over the bridge at Grand Canal Street is spectacular.
