  1. What a tragically depressing place Ireland 1972 was.

  2. Who the heck were Murphy and the Swallows??

    1. Former members of The Premier Aces (Houston Wells & The Premier Aces), Sonny Ward (Sax), Johnny Carroll (The Man With The Golden Trumpet), Jimmy O’Neill (Keyboards) and Bobby Madden (lead gtr). First lead singer was Jim Nash replaced by (Margaret) Murphy. Other members Mickey Belton (drms) and Murty Finn (bass). The line up recorded a number of singles and one LP for the Release Records subsidiary Play. A later lead singer was named Magic and had a light-up suit. Some members of the band went on to become The Magic Band.

  3. They have T-Rex listed under progressive?
