Free with the Sunday Independent on 11th September, 1966, this 22 page brochure designed by Kenny’s and from the National Dairy Publicity Council featured recipes and household hints with a foreword by CJ Haughey the then Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries.

  1. The range of cheese is pretty impressive for 1966! My mother used to get the blocks of “genuine” cheddar sometimes, as opposed to the Mitchelstown processed variety which, quite honestly, was what we normally used, but I had no idea there was so much variety available otherwise.
