  1. Lovely images! I wonder if Ford sponsored it? There’s a Mk. 3 Cortina in pic. 1 and what looks like a Granada in pic. 8. Dad taught me to drive in his (2nd hand) Mk. 3 Cortina in 1977 (“if your mother can drive this, so can you”) – nicked and burned-out at the Border a month later! He got bugger-all insurance for it as well.


    • Ummm… Granada (?) front-end in pic. 1 and Cortina in pic. 8. But that Mk. 3… God, it was like steering the Queen Mary, so I thought. No power-steering, of course. Happy days.
