




This is issue 9 of Dublin Fanzine Imprint. (We previously did a post on issue 6 over 2 years ago) From May, 1980 issue 9 has articles on bands and writers still prominent today. Madness and the Blades, for example, both have big Dublin gigs over the next few weeks. Writers for Imprint included, Fintan Kerrigan, Shane McElhatton, Barbara Fitzgerald, Michael Cullen, Eamon Delaney and Gerard Siggins.
The Gerard Siggins article is with Belfast group Shock Treatment who had Barry McIlhiney (later to be an editor at Smash Hits and Empire magazines) as their front man.
Nice to see the Scheme in their top 50 chart too. (see #49 above)
