From my home town Dundalk, this is PJ Carrolls cigarette factory as it appeared in the Architectural Survey Magazine, 1971. The Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) took possession of the buildings in 2002.

  1. Gorgeous shots. Should be in Elle Decoration or Wallpaper. Will put them on the Choice page. You hipster, you.

  2. Perfect Choice! Was only once in the factory – for a job interview.

  3. LOVE seeing this – my dad worked there. The photo of the reception area with the Native American sculpture and the Le Brocquy tapestry made my heart miss a beat.

    1. Thanks Sarah. Mine skipped a beat too when I recently found the magazine that had these photos.
