  1. I remember my Grandad smoking those.Was that Robbie Burns on the front of the packet?

    1. Yes. His sister had lived near Dundalk (Stephenstown) and she is buried in the graveyard of ‘The Green Church” opposite Carrolls factory. The name stems from a Burns’s poem “flow gently sweet Afton”

  2. The poem of Rabbie Burns was set to music. The late great Jo Stafford sang a fine version of it.
