Ireland Goes Pop is a fun, live storytelling and multimedia presentation that explores the evolution of pop culture in Ireland from the 1960s to the 1990s.
The presenters use a show-and-tell method – pulling out original magazines, retro ads, tangible artefacts, and sharing personal memories – to tell the inspiring story of how a once-poor, inward-looking, deeply religious, and heavily censored Ireland became a dominant force in today’s global pop culture.
Presented by Brian McMahon and Sinead Kenny of http://www.BrandNewRetro.ie, the show runs for 45 minutes.
