Ireland Goes Pop is a live storytelling and multimedia presentation that delves into the evolution of pop culture in Ireland from the 1960s to the 1990s. Presented by Brian McMahon and Sinead Kenny of Brand New Retro, the show offers a nostalgic journey through Ireland’s musical, fashion, and television history during this transformative period.

The show utilises a rich array of original magazines, artifacts, and personal anecdotes to illustrate how Ireland transitioned from a more insular society to one increasingly influenced by global pop culture. The show aims to entertain the audience, provide them with an immersive experience and a deeper understanding of how pop culture shaped Ireland’s modern identity.

The one-hour show has played to packed houses at Dublin Culture Night, and at Culture Date with Dublin 8 and Phizzfest festivals.
