The First Dublin Discos – the early days of late-night clubbing, is a mini exhibition from Brand New Retro now on show at Leonards Corner pub.
The exhibition looks at the first clubs in the city where people danced to DJs.
The journey starts in 1964 with the beat club scene and ends in 1980 with Flikkers and the first gay discos.
Using photos, flyers, adverts, and memorabilia the exhibition chronologically lists the first 40 discos and shows how the Dublin disco scene evolved through the 1960s & 70s.
