funny how folk think galway is where all the velvet and poets are beyond dublin,but for me, it’s cork that truly takes the biscuit…fatima mansions…the whole soul/deep house thing going on down there…john spillane singing that gorgeous ‘everythings turning to gold kathleen…and that soft singing lilt in the cock accent…i love it.
