Young Dublin band the Millionaires performed this mock hold-up for a two page feature in New Spotlight magazine in September 1967.
Described in the article as one of the better young ‘showbands’, with an average age 20, the band were then managed by Pat O’Flynn. They were Gene Bannon (sax, clarinet and pianette), Joe O’Doherty (bass), Micky Conn (lead Guitar), Michael O’Brien (Drums), Billy Doyle (Trombone), Jimmy Higgins (Trumpet) and Fergus Burke (lead vocalist).
Twenty Five years before Reservoir Dogs too!
