Goodbody Limited started in Clara, Co Offaly in 1865 and had many Irish branches in Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Dublin and Slane involved in the production of jute, polythene and cotton goods.

Bales of jute were imported from East Pakistan.

Rubber brands are hand-cut for printing sacks on the hand-fed Sphinx machines.
