Marc Bolan’s manager said that. Well, so says the editorial for this Irish music, entertainment and fashion magazine.
Ex New Spotlight columnist, Pat Egan, worked for Scene as did Hotpress chief Niall Stokes and, at a later stage, Dave Fanning. Although there is a definite ‘rock’ angle to this mag (compared with the other Irish weekly from that time, Starlight) it still features articles and adverts on Irish showbands. (eg The Memories in colour -see below)
